Meet Our Quality Team
Fue Thao- Quality Manager
With over a decade of experience in the manufacturing industry, Fue has spent the past seven years specializing in quality management. Starting at VistaTek as an operator, Fue worked his way up to Quality Manager, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of products and processes along the way. His deep understanding of both shop floor operations and quality systems allows him to lead with expertise and precision.
Originally from Thailand and raised in Fresno, California, Fue has called Minnesota home since the mid-2000s. Outside of work, he’s a big sci-fi fan... Interstellar tops his favorites list, and he also enjoys a hearty bowl of pho at Zen Garden.
Blong Moua- Quality Inspector
Born and raised in Saint Paul, Blong has a passion for building- whether it’s wooden houses, cars, or toys. He began at VistaTek as an operator and, with support from his coworkers, quickly adapted to the world of injection mold manufacturing. Over time, Blong transitioned into the Quality Department, where he thrives on teamwork, brainstorming solutions, updating work instructions, and improving workplace processes.
Blong’s go-to comfort food is pho from Pho My Village, and his favorite action-packed movie is John Wick. He values the opportunities VistaTek has given him to grow his skills and career.
Pang Lor- Quality Inspector
With over seven years in Quality, most of them in the medical device industry, Pang brings exceptional attention to detail and a strong grasp of quality acceptance criteria. She’s skilled with tools ranging from calipers and micrometers to advanced vision systems, and she regularly assists engineers with non-conformances and gage R&R studies.
Originally from Saraburi, Thailand, Pang enjoys designing nails in her free time, watching comedies, and dining at her favorite Thai restaurants.
Tou Xiong- Quality Inspector
Tou’s manufacturing experience is rooted in hands-on work within production environments, beginning with line clearance and ensuring documents are accurate before starting a task. His role has included operating machinery, collaborating with team members, assembling products, packaging, and maintaining safety and efficiency in line with company policies.
Tou’s approach to quality starts with confirming the correct drawing and revision level, and inspecting or performing tasks according to customer specifications. If something appears off, he promptly coordinates with engineering or other appropriate personnel before proceeding. He believes inspection can take many forms, but consistency comes from having clear procedures and work instructions so everyone performs the job the same way every time. By implementing best practices, the quality department ensures it can consistently meet customer requirements.
Originally from Long Cheng, Laos, Tou enjoys fishing and flipping cars or other items as a side gig. He prefers action and light drama films and counts steak houses among his favorite places to dine.
