We’re excited to share that VistaTek has been recognized as a 2025 IMDA Award winner for Sustainable Use of In-Mold Labeling (IML)! This award celebrates innovation in design, materials, and environmental responsibility; three things we care deeply about.
Our winning project features the SelfEco Stadium Cup, made from 100% compostable PLA and decorated using in-mold labeling. By fusing the label directly into the cup during molding, we eliminate extra steps, reduce waste, and create a cleaner production process. Every component, from the materials to the inks were chosen to maintain full compostability and food safety.
This cup represents what we love most about manufacturing: finding better ways to make everyday products more sustainable without sacrificing quality or design. It’s durable, reusable, and compostable, proving that circular, eco-friendly solutions are possible at any scale.
We’re incredibly proud of our team and partners who brought this project to life, and we’re grateful to the In-Mold Decorating Association for recognizing the innovation behind it. This award reflects our ongoing commitment to designing and manufacturing with purpose; creating products that look good, perform well, and do good for the planet.
